Heineken Icons

During my internship at Triple, I got the chance to work on a project for Heineken. My assignment was to design new icons for a platform called MijnZaak. MijnZaak is an online platform from HEINEKEN Horeca that provides customers with insights into their business. Through this platform, users have faster access to their invoices, and purchase data, and can place orders 24/7.

The platform underwent a rebranding, which meant that the current functional icons and graphics no longer matched the new brand style.

Role

  • Icon designer

Assignment

Design new T1 (functional icons) and T2 (icons with a bit more detail, leaning towards illustrations) icons for MijnZaak.

What did I do?

  • Research (Grids, competitive analysis, other icon designs)

  • Concepting

  • Style research

  • Design system in Figma

*Due to confidentiality agreements, I am unfortunately unable to share detailed information about the process of this project.

T1 Icons

The T1 icons are designed for instant recognition, ensuring seamless user navigation and interaction.

T2 Icons

T2 icons have a bit more detail, leaning towards illustrations. They support secondary actions or features.

Some fun highlights with Heineken!

During this project with Heineken, I was able to take part in some fun activities and collaborate with different disciplines within the Triple and Heineken team. Here are some fun highlights!

  • We celebrated the birthday of the Heineken team’s Scrum Master in the skybox at the AFAS Stadium in Alkmaar.

  • We also visited the Heineken brewery in Den Bosch. After the brewery tour, we went to Schijndel and partied at Paaspop with Heineken and Triple colleagues!
